Ss Peter and Paul Mission Day 2025
Dear Parents and Carers,
This year for Catholic Mission Month (October 2025) we were raising awareness and funds for communities in Zambia, to help ensure children have access to food and education, giving them the chance to build a brighter future.
In order to support the Catholic Mission, on Wednesday October 29 (Term 4, Week 3) our school will be coming together for both prayer and action. We will have a liturgy at 11:30am - parents are invited to attend this liturgy. At 12:00pm, Year 5 and 6 students will set up stalls for our students will be participate in. Students will need to bring in lots of silver and gold coins on this day to be able to have a go at the stalls.
When: Wednesday October 29 (Term 4, Week 3)
Time: Liturgy commencing at 11:30am (parents invited) + Mission Stalls beginning at 12:15 pm and concluding at 1:00 pm (students only).
What: Groups of students (Year 5 and 6) will be setting up stalls on our playground at the conclusion of the liturgy. Children are to bring in lots of coins to spend at the stalls on the day - all money goes to Catholic Mission!
What do students need: The stalls will have games, activities and things to buy. Students will need lots of silver and gold coins so they can be involved on the day.
Thank you,
Mrs Emma Rayner.
