Green Day Fundraiser - Tuesday 23 September Week 10 Term 3

As we welcome this Season of Creation in 2025, the Environmental Team has planned a Green Day fundraiser for Term 3. All students are asked to wear green mufti, and bring in a gold coin donation. The proceeds raised from this fundraiser will go towards our school garden. Our first goal is to purchase a garden shed, and any additional profits will be contributed to fixing the plumbing and watering systems in the garden. 

Caritas Australia’s Catholic Earthcare program is calling on schools across the country to take part in a new initiative that brings faith and sustainability together through the new Creation Changemakers campaign.This year’s mission is to create a Garden of Peace – a living symbol of hope and harmony within school communities, inspired by the 2025 Season of Creation theme, Peace with Creation. 

The Environmental Team would like to use this day to engage the students in naming the school garden. The name of the school garden will be announced in the first Term 4 assembly.
